Forklift Training Refresher Course

Our Forklift Training Refresher Course is designed for experienced counterbalance drivers looking to update their licenses. Our training is ideally located within reach of all cities within South Yorkshire, including Barnsley,  Rotherham, Doncaster and Sheffield. Our forklift training refresher course is accredited by ITSSAR, the leading body for handling training standards.t

The rate is £80+VAT per delegate. No hidden expenses. We require a deposit of 50% of the value 14 days before training commences.  The second payment would be required before training commences. Subject to credit approval the final 50% can also be payed on 30 day credit agreements.

Special rates are available for large organisations requiring multiple training.

Forklift Training Refresher Course Structure

Our forklift training refresher course covers both a range of theory and practical skills, full details can be found below:

Theoretical

• The need to train & statutory requirements
• Counterbalance Principles Rated Capacities – stability and instability
• Operator Safety Code
• Suitable safety films
• Multi choice theory test

Practical Skill Instruction

• Introduction to the machine
• Daily checks and test
• Demonstrations all procedures for steering and stacking
• Practice
• Practical skill test

Forklift Training Refresher Course Schedule

Our forklift training refresher course lasts for one day, beginning at 8.15am until 4.45pm. These times are provisional and could be shortened depending on how quickly candidates progress.

8.15-8.30am -   Course Registration & Outline
8.30-9.15am -   Need to Train And Statutory & Requirements
9.25-11.30am – Counterbalance Principles Rated Capacities
11.30-12.15pm – Introduction to the machine
12.45-1.15pm – Pre-use inspection Demonstration
1.15-4.45pm – Revision advanced steering/stacking and de-stacking, Associated knowledge test, Pre-use inspection and Practical testing
